Secret Blueprint to Conquer New Goals
Smoke Your 2015 Goals Super Easily
Fvck. 2015 is here; and so, I’ve decided to chalk up a post on the best ways to conquer new goals, since everyone with ownership to a blog’s probably doing it. I’m pretty inventive.
Firstly: How was your 2014? Did you have any breakthroughs?
If you’ve shook your head to the above questions, it’s time for a change.
Here are 3 simple yet devastatingly effective ways to help you conquer new mountains (and volcanoes) while transforming yourself 180-spin.
1. Don’t create Resolutions. Create new habits.
The most challenging part? Committing to it and doing it with love. So set small goals and home-run those first.
2. Love those Goals & Habits.
Love them like you love your mom, dad, girlfriend.
If you’re not driven to love the goals you set, there’s no fire in your belly to make it work. If that’s the case, you should’ve never started. It’s your deep-passion to “make it work” that fuels your willpower and motivation.
“Motivation is what gets you started, habit is what keeps you going.”
Remember that everything you’re doing, is for yourself. logically, it’s a win-win if you’re acquiring new habits that will lead to a more rewarding reality.
3. Be Super Precise & Methodical
Be military-precise about your goals. Do you want to earn more?
What must be done? Perhaps you need to wake up 2-3 hours earlier and use that time to further your business or hone a new skill. Do you want to get more done? Perhaps you need to ramp up your daily blog word count. Or, hire someone better than you to do it.
Next: Start at the starting point – not the end! Take one step at a time. Dreaming too big, too far ahead, too early, is never too good.
The trick is to stick at one thing for over 70+days. After that, it’s auto-cruise. The only difficulty you will have is “breaking free” from your habits. Thank yourself later, and buy me a drink.
If you don’t do any of the above, you’ll only feel worse at the need of the day for not even trying.
So go ahead, do it; because it’s that easy.
