5 Lessons You Better Learn Before You're 30
Preparing For 30
You’re Responsible For Yourself
At the end of the day, your future is really in your hands. You make all the decisions, you plant all the seeds.
You’re Either Moving Forward, Or You’re Not Going Anywhere
If you want to move forward with your life – there’s only one thing to do: Make that move. You’re either pushing forward or you’re stuck where you are now. Want more time and freedom? Design a sustainable lifestyle that will support it. Figure out what systems need to be in place.
Keep Nurturing Your Inner Well
This may sound cliched, but you have a deep well of resources within you. The water in this ‘well’, becomes more rich in resource, only when you invest yourself. If you’re honing your skills, taking care of your body, offering value to the world – you’ll have a well of water worth drinking from.
When you feel like your resources are depleted, that’s when you need to re-plain the way you’re living. There will always be many areas in our life that needs refining. Find out what they are and expand on them.
The ability to ‘learn’ and rebuild ourselves is a truly amazing human gift.
It’s Ok To Ask For Help.
Don’t try to do everything yourself, and don’t be shy to ask for help.
As we get older, our ego tends to grow too. Sometimes, we let our ego get in the way and we forget that it’s ok to ‘not know everything’. The answers will come flooding to you the second you step up and ask. Raise your hand, and be willing to admit that you’ve still got a shitload to learn. Don’t forget to thank everyone who’s offered you their precious time.
When I was having a hard time trying to scale my own business – I realized the problem was myself. I wanted full control of everything, which led me to do everything myself. However, things progressed much slower than I would’ve wanted. So, I hired for help, and worked my ass to train and keep my team strong.
Spend Money on things that make you Money.
Besides from hitting the lottery, this may be the ultimate secret to making more money. Start spending your money (and time) on what’s going to make you more money. Your bank statement will inevitably gain weight. Don’t complicate this process.
Be who you are: Be it.
You own it to yourself to ‘live up to your own’. It’s your birthright privilege.
